FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL: Tuesday, September 6th, 2022

The first day of school for the 2022-2023 school year is Tuesday, September 6th, 2022. All new and returning grades 1 – 7 students will be attending school from 9:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. Please do NOT send your child to school with their full supplies! Teachers will let students know what supplies to bring and when. Please send a recess snack and a water bottle with your child.

Health and Safety protocols across the Delta School District

• Students must continue to complete daily health checks and are required to stay home when they feel sick.
• Students and staff will be required to practice diligent hand hygiene and respiratory etiquette.
• Frequently touched surfaces will be cleaned and disinfected at least once a day.
• Mask-wearing will be optional for students and staff. Schools will have some masks available for those who might need one.
• No judgment will be placed on anyone who chooses to wear a mask or chooses not to wear a mask. Staff and students are free to make their own choices for their health and safety with respect to mask-wearing.
