Our local high schools are planning their Parent Information nights.  Please see below for details for Delview Secondary, Burnsview Secondary & Sands Secondary.  If your child is not planning on attending our catchment school, Delview Secondary, please let the office know as soon as possible.

Delview Secondary:  Grade 7 Parents/Guardians,

The Parent Information Night for Delview Secondary will be held  on Tuesday, January 30^th at 6:30 pm. The meeting will be held in-person in the Delview Library.

This session will include an overview of the Grade 8 program including a description of courses, the course selection procedure, and extra-curricular opportunities offered at Delview. It is also an opportunity to meet Delview’s  Administration and Counselling team. This evening is open to all Grade 7 parents and students planning on attending Delview in the fall. 

Burnsview Secondary:

The Grade 7 Parent information night will be held on Thursday, January 18^th at 7:00 pm in the Burnsview Library. This session will include an overview of the Grade 8 program including a description of courses, the course selection procedure, and extra-curricular opportunities offered at Burnsview. This evening is open to all Grade 7 parents and students interested in attending Burnsview. Parents participating in the French Immersion information session will also benefit from participating in this information session as other material will be covered.

The Grade 7 French Immersion information night will be held on Thursday, January 25^th at 7:00 pm in the Burnsview Library. This evening will provide information specific to the Immersion program at Burnsview including testimonials from students, descriptions of Immersion courses and activities, and a question and answer period.  All Grade 7 French Immersion students and their parents are invited to participate.

Sands Secondary

Sands Grade 7 parent information night will be January 31/2024 at 6 pm in the Sands library.
